Robert Chambers is Professor of Property Law at UCL since September 2008. He was a Barrister and Solicitor in Alberta before obtaining a DPhil at the University of Oxford under the supervision of Professor Peter Birks. Since then, he has been Senior Lecturer at the University of Melbourne, Professor at the University of Alberta, and Professor of Law at King's College London. He has also had visiting lectureships at Niigata University in Japan and the University of Auckland. He is Chief Examiner in the Law of Trusts for the University of London International LLB Programme and a member of the editorial boards for Current Legal Problems, the Journal of Equity, and Trusts Law International.

Professor Chambers researches and writes about property, restitution, trusts, and unjust enrichment.
