Showcasing and selling student work:
Boxpark – the worlds first pop-up shopping mall in the heart of East London – is playing host to a very unique kind of store: Launchbox, UCL's first ever pop-up shop.
Creative undergraduates are showcasing their very latest designs for knitwear, accessories and jewellery while by night the store will be transformed into a venue for events ranging from everything to poetry readings to gap year trip matchmaking.
With it's position close to London's burgeoning tech scene, the store will also showcase the latest apps developed by UCL students through a bank of iPads ready and waiting for visitors to play, test and influence their future development.
Launchbox's residency at Boxpark is strictly limited. Experience a new retail experience showcasing the hottest creative talent from London's Global University.
UCL Launchbox is part of a European network of Innovation Boutiques, initiated under the Open Innovation Project funded by the Interreg IVB NWE. Products from our European partners in Laval, Ghent, Kassel, Edinburgh will e exhibited. In London, British Library, partner in this project, has already put forward three participating companies.
