Language Course Units 2012-2013
Cambridge ESOL CELTA/Teaching English as a Foreign Language information event
Thursday 31 May 2012 13:00-15:00
26 Bedford Way LG04
Would you like to teach English as a Foreign Language after you graduate or in your holidays?
Then come along to this information session for all UCL undergraduates who are interested in gaining the internationally recognised Cambridge ESOL CELTA teaching qualification whilst studying for their degree programme. UCL Language Centre is one of the few higher education institutions in the UK who offer this unique opportunity to combine the CELTA course with a course unit.
Students who have taken this course before have gone on to teach both in the UK and abroad and have found it to be a very valuable experience both in terms of gaining an additional qualification and also the impact that it has on other aspects of their academic study (for example in developing confidence, presentation skills, and the ability to work with other undergraduates from a range of disciplines and year groups).
Come to this event to see what the course involves and how it could fit into your other studies at UCL (booking not required).
