Nick McNally invited to Parliamentary roundtable
21 December 2012
Dr Nick McNally, Director of Research Support and Chief Operating Officer for the NIHR University College London Hospitals Biomedical Research Centre (BRC), has been invited to the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Medical Research breakfast roundtable hosted by Lord Willis of Knaresbourgh.
The event will take place on 23 January in the House of Commons and will discuss how research can be embedded into the NHS.
Dr McNally has already given invited presentations on the BRC at an Association of Medical Research Charities (AMRC) event and at an NIHR event.
The NIHR meeting brought together staff from a variety of different NIHR programmes; with staff from NHS, Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) and industry to discuss the challenges they face and to explore how the interface between the NIHR and the NHS-HEIs can be further enhanced.
