Postgraduate taught courses

We offer a number of courses that have been designed to suit not only your research or professional interests, but also the time and resources that you have available during your studies.

You can find details of our open days here (link).

MSc courses

A master’s course is suitable for you if you want to distinguish yourself as a high quality graduate with a detailed understanding of crime and security problems, their analysis and prevention. Students undertaking these courses produce a piece of original research in the form of a dissertation.

These are available as a campus course and as a distance learning online option (with the exception of the MSc Crime and Forensic Science, which can only be taken as a campus-based, full-time course).

The online MSc is particularly suitable for you if you need maximum flexibility in your learning pattern, and can be taken from any worldwide location. It is designed to engage you in a learning experience that is inclusive and stimulating without the need to visit campus. More details about distance learning can be found by clicking here.

We also offer an MRes in Security Science as part of our Doctoral Training programme, SECReT. Details can be found by clicking here.
