Student Publishers' Prize 2014

5 February 2014

Type set

The UCL Publishers’ Prize for Student Writing is a new award for aspiring writers at UCL, supported by UCL Press.

The Prize is open to all 2013-14 students at the university, both undergrad and postgrad, and including part-time students. It will be judged by a committee of future publishers from the university’s Publishing MA course, with input from guest judges from the book industry.

In addition to cash awards for the winners, the best entries will be published in an anthology which will be stocked by Waterstone’s Gower Street and on Amazon.

The aim of the Prize is to promote student writing at UCL and discover fantastic new talents to carry on the legacy of great writers this institute has produced.

The competition organisers are looking for new voices, great stories and people with something genuinely interesting to say. Please take a look at the Guidelines and check out Facebook and Twitter accounts for further information and writing tips.

The deadline for submissions is 11:59 pm, Friday 28th of March.
