COLSONOEL is a one day inter-university postgraduate symposium which brings together research students working in the fields of Old Norse, Old English and Latin at Oxford University, Cambridge University and UCL. Having been hosted by Oxford and Cambridge in recent times, this year’s event will be hosted by UCL with the generous support of FIGS. The day will feature a series of papers given by students from across these institutions as well as poster session showcasing more visual research. There will be ample time for lively and constructive debate between participants as well as time for valuable networking between attendees.

COLSONOEL aims to provide a forum for postgraduate researchers to discuss their ideas in a supportive environment, encouraging participants to think beyond the confines of their own discipline and subject. We hope this symposium will lead to productive and long lasting connections within the Old Norse, Old English and Latin academic communities.
