The 'Dreams in History' series continues on Monday at 4 in the Lecture Theatre on the 4th floor. Now that we have experimented with the different ways we can view the material relevant to ancient dreams, the theme this week is a close consideration of what constitutes an explanation for us as commentators on the past and how the current idiom (at any given point) drives this judgement: the handout at summarises the strategy of the argument explained thus far and notes what would count as explanation in a few different contexts

After various placements centred in
UCL, I moved to the Centre for Advancement of Learning and Teaching
where I teach on Adult Education, and research Interdisciplinarity and
Ancient History.
