Education: BA in Anthropology from The University of Chicago, MA in Cultural Memory from the School of Advanced Study, PhD from University College London.
Research interests: 19th and 20th century Italian history and cultural studies, cultural memory, oral history, protest movements, the political lives of dead bodies, the relationship between film/photography and history, dark tourism and representations of political violence.
