• The Dartmouth Dante Project

will eventually make available on line some 60 commentaries to Dante's DIVINA COMMEDIA composed in the last 670 years. The principal site of the project is Dartmouth College with the collaboration of Princeton University.

Archive of texts from the origins of Italian poetry to Dante. It also lists Internet resources for Italian literature and language.

 

The following databases are only available to registered students and staff of UCL:

Art Theorists of the Italian Renaissance

Is a collection of fifteenth and sixteenth century treatises on art and architecture, built around Giorgio Vasari's Lives of the Artists. The "Lives" is a central text for the study of Italian Renaissance art and architecture and is an important resource for wider research of the period.
