- Art Theorists of the Italian Renaissance
Is a collection of fifteenth and sixteenth century treatises on art and architecture, built around Giorgio Vasari's Lives of the Artists. The "Lives" is a central text for the study of Italian Renaissance art and architecture and is an important resource for wider research of the period.
