One of the most important things you’ll learn as a student is how to manage your money. Knowing that your finances are under control means you can relax, concentrate on your studies and enjoy your time here at UCL.
When you're planning your budget, remember that you'll need to take into account your tuition fees and your living costs.
The UCL Financial Advice and Support team have put together a helpful guide to your expenses to help you plan your budget. Please note the table is only an approximate guidance and can change depending on individual circumstances.
A total cost of around £387 per week is considered to be a reasonable average over a 40-week year for a undergraduate student and 52 week year for postgraduates. (This includes the 30-week UCL academic year plus Christmas and Easter vacations).
