Len Tyler

OBE

Senior Associate Fellow

Beginning his career as an accountant, Len has, since the late 1980s, held a number of senior management positions in the technology and defence sectors, with companies such as Marconi, Nortel, Cogent and EADS. His international experience includes the US, Taiwan, Netherlands, Turkey and Saudi Arabia; and with supra-national organisations such as NATO and the United Nations. For many years, Len has committed a great deal of his time to promoting an awareness of business in young people. This effort was rewarded by Nortel Networks in 1993 with the President's Award of Excellence for Community Service. Len was awarded his OBE for services to the defence industry in the 2009 Queen’s Birthday Honours List. At ISRS, he leads the promotion of our work on Cyber Security and Cyber Doctrine.
