Cisco VPN Client.mpkg Package Failure

Summary
 The Cisco VPN Client.mpkg Package fails to open with the Installer App and subsequently fails.
Solution This error occurs when the Cisco VPN Client.mpkg is not open with the Installer Application. As a result the .mpkg fails to install the client. Follow the instructions below to resolve.
  1. Open the CiscoVPNClient volume.

  2. Right-click (hold ctrl and Left-click) on the Cisco VPN Client.mpkg package and select Get Info.

  3. Navigate to Open With and expand.

  4. Select Installer from the list. If this option is not available, select Other... and navigate to the Installer.app. Mac OS X 10.4 (or older): 

    /Applications/Utilities/Installer.app

    Mac OS X 10.5 (or newer):

    /System/Library/CoreServices/Installer.app
