Videoconferencing Rooms & Lecture Theatres
UCL has a number of videoconferencing facilities available in specially equipped seminar rooms and lecture theatres.
UCL Multimedia of the Learning & Media Services department within ISD, is responsible for installing and maintaining much of the videoconferencing equipment and infrastructure used across the whole of UCL.

Booking
a videoconference will mean booking one of the specially equipped
seminar rooms or lecture theatres, for the whole duration of your
conference.
Depending on where you want to hold your videoconference, a videoconferencing room and lecture theatre can be booked through one of the following departments:
Which facility to use?
Which
facility you will want to use for your videoconference, and ultimately
how you can book it, will be determined by a number of factors. These
include:
- Which UCL building the videoconferencing room or lecture theatre resides
- Seating capacity of room or lecture theatre
- Time of videoconference
- Specialist facilities needed for videoconference e.g. multiple site videoconferencing
- Staff availability to oversee videoconference
