Costs and what is included

The cost of ECDL tests and certification is borne by the UCL Graduate School and students incur no fee.

This includes all seven module tests, a mock test for each module and registration with the British Computer Society. It also includes online learning materials and downloadable paper-based materials, although these are available free of charge to UCL staff and students anyway.

Orientation sessions

The orientation session will last up to an hour.  At the orientation you will be given more detailed information about the ECDL programme at UCL and provided with a copy of the ECDL syllabus. You will be shown the learning materials which are available for use and the automated testing software we use for testing sessions. To attend an orientation session, please complete the ECDL application form, indicating your preferred orientation date (see form for details).
