Configuring iPhone Device to use secure email settings

The following instructions are for the iPhone 3G.

1. From the Home screen, tap Settings and then scroll down to Mail, Contacts, Calendars:

2. On the Accounts screen select your email account and then tap Advanced:

3. Scroll down to Incoming Settings and turn on Use SSL. The Server Port should then change to 993 (If you use POP, the port number will change to 995):

4. Press the Home button to return back to the Home screen.
