Hotmail (Windows Live Hotmail)

  • Click on Options > More options (Located in the top right hand corner)

  • Under Manage Accounts, click on Send and receive mail from other e-mail accounts.
Manage account options
  • You will see your additional UCL account listed under You can receive email from these accounts.
  • Click on Edit.
Additional account options
  • An additional box (Edit your account) will appear. Click in the box next to This server requires a secure connection (SSL) so that a tick appears.
  • The port number will change to 995.
Edit account
  • Click on Next to complete the process.

You are now set up to read email securely.
