The right way to change your password

If you need to change your password, you must do so using MyAccount.

Using this method will change not only your email password, but will also synchronise your new password across a range of services such as:

• Password protected web pages
• Portico
• WTS
• Myriad
• Moodle

The wrong way to change your password

You may notice an option in Outlook Live to change your password under Options > See All Options...:

You should not use this method. It changes your password only for the Outlook Live email service. It will not synchronise with other services such as:

• Password protected web pages
• Portico
• Cluster WTS
• Myriad
• Moodle

If you do change your password in Outlook Live, go back to MyAccount and change your password.
