e.g. ucaaxxx@ucl.ac.uk

You also have an e-mail alias which is allocated to you by the system which is based on your name e.g. f.bloggs@ucl.ac.uk

Your e-mail alias will be sent to you by the Postmaster as an e-mail message when your account is first set up.

If you do not know your e-mail alias you can:

• e-mail postmaster@ucl.ac.uk
• or SSH to socrates.ucl.ac.uk and type mailalias at the % prompt.

PLEASE NOTE: If there is already someone at UCL with a similar name to yours you may not get your first choice of e-mail alias.
