Importing your Firefox Bookmarks into Internet Explorer

  • Open Internet Explorer.

  • Go to File > Import and Export.

  • The Import/Export Wizard will open, click on Next.

  • Click on Import Favourites and click Next again.

  • Click on Browse. Select the folder and file name where your bookmarks have been stored and click on Save.

For your Mozilla bookmarks, the path will be:

  • 'N:\PCSettings\Appdata\mozilla\Profiles\Generic-user\xy5ctmz2.slt\bookmarks.html' in Staff WTS
    (the path may be slightly different from this)
  • 'R:\wts\settings\mozilla\basic\ule08h7o.slt\bookmarks.html' in Cluster WTS
    (the path may be slightly different from this)

For your Firefox bookmarks, the path will be:

  • 'N:\PCSettings\Appdata\mozilla\Firefox\Profile\bookmarks.html' in Staff WTS
  • 'R:\wts\settings\mozilla\Firefox\Profile\bookmarks.html' in Cluster WTS

  • Click on Next.

  • Select where your imported Internet bookmarks will be placed, if you are unsure just choose Favourites. Click on Next.

  • Click Finish.
  • In Internet Explorer go to the Favourites menu to see all your bookmarks appear!
