WebNet – a network for those interested in the web at UCL.
Come to the third WebNet meeting on Wednesday, June 19th June (2-4pm) at 347 Taviton Street.
WAMS is delighted to announce their close collaboration with Tony Russell-Rose and Mark Boulton, who will both be speaking at this event.
Tony Russell-Rose is director of UXLabs, a research and design consultancy specialising in complex search and information access applications. Previously Tony has led R&D teams at Canon, Reuters, HP Labs and BT Labs. He is author of "Designing the Search Experience" (Elsevier, 2012) and publishes widely on search, user experience and text analytics.
Mark Boulton is a web designer and
author. He is the founder of Mark
Boulton Design Ltd, and co-founder of indie publisher Five Simple
Steps. Sometimes outspoken, always
passionate, Mark is obsessed with applying the fundamentals of good design
on the web. This is also an opportunity to meet people interested in the web from
across UCL and to ask those burning questions.
