How to order equipment for ISD Desktop services

If you would like to order equipment for ISD desktop services (WTS or ADS) then you will need to place an order with the ISD Hardware Purchasing team. If you are a member of SLMS faculty or a medical department and you are not sure how to order or who to order from, please go to the IT for SLMS contacts web page

To continue with a (WTS or ADS) equipment request, follow the 3 steps below.


Select the Type of machine you would like for your role

You can do this by either browsing equipment and then by emailing  the IT Purchasing team for a quote


Send an IDT order via FIS to ISD IT Purchasing

We will then liaise with the supplier and order the equipment on your behalf. Please make sure the IDT includes VAT to avoid us having to send it back to you to add VAT before ordering/processing.



WTS and ADS desktop and laptop computers will be imaged/setup for you at your desk. A member of the CPS Operations team will contact you to arrange a convenient installation date and time.

Please make sure you quote the ISD IT Purchasing Case number when enquiring about an installaion. e.g Case number format [13453] and an IDT number if applicable.
