Delete an Appointment (method 1)
1. Select the appointment that you want to delete by clicking on it.
2. Right-mouse-click and select Delete from the pop up menu.

The activity will now be removed.
Deleting an Appointment (method 2)
1. Select the appointment, meeting or event that you want to delete from your calendar by clicking on it.
2. An extra Calendar Tools / Meeting tab will appear in your toolbar.
Click on the Delete button in the Actions group on the toolbar to remove the activity.
Cancel a meeting
You remove a meeting from your Calendar by cancelling the meeting. To do this:
1. Right-click on the meeting you want to cancel.
2. Select Cancel Meeting from the pop up menu.

3. As other people would have been invited, a cancellation email window will open.
Type a message to the recipients, if you wish, and click on the Send Cancellation button.

The attendees will receive an email notifying them of the cancelled meeting.

Please note: You cannot cancel the meeting without notifying the attendees first. |
Deleting a recurring meeting
1. Right-click on the meeting you want to cancel.
2. Select Cancel Meeting from the pop up menu.
3. You will see two further options:
- Cancel Occurrence (this means cancel all of the recurring meetings)
- Cancel Series (this means cancel this one instance of the recurring meeting)
Select your choice and a cancellation email window will open. Type a message to the recipients, if you wish, and click on the Send Cancellation button.
Deleting an event
1. If you would like to delete an event that no one else was invited to see: Deleting an appointment as the method is the same.
2. If you would like to delete an event that other people were invited to see: Deleting a meeting as the method is the same.
