Connecting to Staff WTS 2010 via an ISD-Managed PC
The first thing you will need to do is reboot your PC from the network. To do this:
- Restart your machine.
- Watch carefully, you will see a message that reads Press SPACEBAR to boot from network. As soon as you see this message, press the Spacebar on your keyboard.

Tip! A reboot takes roughly 30 minutes. You may therefore want
to initiate the reboot as you leave work the night before you will be using live@ucl. This ensures that you will not have to wait around on the morning that you migrate. |
- Once the reboot is complete, you will see the Staff WTS start panel with an extra button at the top Staff WTS 2010.
- Click on the Staff WTS 2010 button to connect to the new service.
- Log in with your usual UCL userid and password.
