Microsoft Outlook 2010 Exchange live@UCL (Autodiscover)
Step 1. Open up Outlook 2010 for the first
time and you are presented with the Add New Account/Auto
Account Setup
window. Fig 2
Alternatively navigate to the File Menu > Info
> Account Settings > Account Settings. Then click the E-mail
tab > New. Fig 1
Step 2. Populate
the fields under E-mail Account section with your Name.
Step 3. For E-mail
Address enter your LIVE UserID e.g ccaaxxx@live.ucl.ac.uk
Step
4. Enter
your Password and retype to confirm. Click Next to proceed.
Step 5. You will then see a Congratulations window
confirming setup has been a success.
Step 6. Select Finish
for outlook to configure your mailbox.
You are now set up to use Live@UCL with Microsoft Outlook 2010
What next? Manually migrate your folders and emails from IMAP to live@ucl
