Getting Started

Log in

Open an Internet Browser and enter the following address http://www.ucl.ac.uk/dropbox/ . You will then see the Drop box welcome screen.

Dropbox not only allows a UCL user to login, but also permits external users to drop files off for UCL users or pick up files dropped off for them (by UCL members only).

To get started, click on the Login button. You will be taken to a screen where you will need to login with your UCL userid and password.

Once successfully logged in, you will be presented with a menu as shown below:

At this stage, you have the option of:

• dropping off a file (uploading a file for a UCL or external user to download)
• picking up a file (downloading a file which has been dropped off for you)
• or view a list of files (files that are available for you to download).
