About ADS
ADS is a desktop service available to all CSS (Corporate Support Service) staff. The service provides access to email, calendars files and is available for use in your department and remotely.
The service is supported by the ADS team.
What Services Does ADS Provide?
ADS provides you with a range of services including the following:
- Service Desk support via email, phone and on-site assistance
- Access to your secure files areas (departmental and personal)
- Hardware support for computers, printers, PDAs and smart phones
- Access to SharePoint - this is very helpful if you are working on a project and need to share data or collaborate with a group of people
- Centrally managed software including Microsoft Office, Anti-virus and specialist divisional applications
- Secure and daily back up of your files and emails which can be restored if needed
- Registration and account maintenance
- Remote access services for registered staff
Do I need to Register?
All new CSS staff are automatically registered to use ADS. If you have any queries about registering for the ADS service, you should contact your departmental ADS representative in the first instance.
