Planned IRIS downtime affecting website staff profiles (Tuesday 27 June, 7am to 11am)
21 June 2017
IRIS (UCL’s Institutional Research Information System) will be unavailable on Tuesday 27 June between 7am and 11am, while ISD colleagues carry out planned work to move the service to our new datacentres.
This means you will be unable to view or update profiles during this time and any Silva or Drupal pages using the IRIS code sources will also be affected. Website users will see a brief message directing them from staff profile pages to the IRIS homepage where they can read a planned maintenance message.
Drupal editors should also avoid editing the IRIS profile content type from 5pm on Mon until 2pm on Tuesday.
Please note this will not affect UCL Discovery.
This work is part of a major ISD project to move all UCL services to new datacentres due to ongoing development in the Euston area. You can find out more about the datacentre project on the ISD website: Datacentre Migration Project
