Issues are still occurring with slow logons and delayed starting on applications. We are working closely with vendors to resolve the issues and fixes are being tested.

We appreciate the frustration this may cause and apologise for any inconvenience.

Intermittent issue occurring on Desktop@UCL Anywhere affecting users

The logon process may be delayed and some applications are starting up slowly.

During logon you may see a grey screen before the logon process starts.

When starting applications it may appear that nothing is happening on-screen. Repeated attempts to start the application can result in the application being opened multiple times.

What you should do

If your logon is unsuccessful then try disconnecting and re-logging in to start the session successfully.

If the application does not appear to be responding please be patient and wait for the application to start. Reports indicate that this can take between 5-30 seconds.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused. We are investigating as high priority.
