Managing long documents in Word 2010 or Using Word 2010 for Theses and Dissertations

Description:

This course is aimed at those who need to work with long documents, but would also be useful for those who need to create tables of contents, use table and figure captions, etc.

Note that this course can be attended by people using Word 2007.  There are some differences between the two versions but most features are the same.

Pre-requisites:
You should be familiar with a Windows environment and have basic file management skills.  You should also be familiar with Word 2010 and be able to perform basic word processing task such as editing and formatting text.  If you are more familiar with Word 2003 you may wish to attending a Moving to Office 2010 session or use Moving to Office self-paced materials to help you with the transition.
