Silva Plus

NB This course has replaced Silva Intermediate and Silva Advanced Features (January 2014)

Over the last two years, the Silva courses were divided into Introducing the Silva CMS, Silva Intermediate and Silva Advanced Features.

After careful consideration, it has been decided to combine the Intermediate and Advanced course into a one-day course covering features from both courses.

The first Silva Plus course will run on January 30th 2014.

Description:

This course is for those who wish to add to their existing knowledge of Silva and who have attended the Introducing the Silva CMS course and are completely confident with using Silva.

By completely confident, we mean being able to use what was covered in the Introductory course without hesitation.

The course will use the corporate identity template. You will learn about good practice for accessibility and search engine optimisation and how to get Google Analytics to analyse your site.

It covers how to adapt the template, add tables and images; how to give access to others to edit and how to link to publications in RPS and / or IRIS.

We will also introduce you to a number of the external sources/widgets/apps in Silva and provide you with practice on how to improve an existing site.
