Introduction to Matlab

Description: This course is an introduction to the Matlab programming language and computing environment which focuses on building familiarity with the software and introducing its basic functionality.

Pre-requisites:

Trainees should have good basic computing skills; familiarity with the Windows environment; enough understanding of basic algebra and matrix mathematics to follow the course.

Outline:

  • Introduction to Matlab
  • Introductory programming in Matlab

    • Variables, functions, control loops and complex data structures
  • Visualising data in Matlab 
  • Importing and exporting data
  • Developing a Matlab program for a given scenario.

Delivery:  Trainer Led

The is a 2 day trainer led course.  Participants must attend both days of the course.
