Introduction to Matlab

Description:

This course is an introduction to the Matlab programming language and computing environment which focuses on building familiarity with the software and introducing its basic functionality.

This training scheme helps the trainees to work through the The MathWorks tutorials, with assistance from a trainer, and to consolidate their skills through exercise material. There will also be demonstrations and opportunities to ask questions and to share experience with other trainees.

Pre-requisites:

Trainees should have good basic computing skills; familiarity with the Windows environment; enough understanding of basic algebra and matrix mathematics to follow the course.

  • Analyzing and Accessing Data
  • Visualizing Data
  • Performing Numeric Computation
  • Publishing Results and Deploying Applications

Delivery:  Trainer Led

The scheme consists of three mornings of supervised self-study introduced by the trainer. Participants may benefit from taking time outside of these sessions to practise what is learned.
