Using databases in Access 2010

Description:

This short course will provide an introduction to the main features of Access, and enable you to enter data and extract simple information from an existing database. It will NOT provide you with the skills to build a database.

Note that this course can be attended by people using Access 2007.  There are some differences between the two versions but most features are the same.

Pre-requisites:

None.

Outline:

  • introduction to databases and the Access environment
  • data navigation in tables and forms
  • data entry and editing in tables and forms
  • customising the appearance of tables
  • sorting, finding and filtering records
