- UCL Information Sytems Training - UCL Information Systems' training team also run a variety of courses that may be of interest to Research Computing users, including: Principles of programming; Introduction to programming with C/C++; Introduction to Unix; Introduction to SPSS; Matlab.
- UCL Access Grid - The Access Grid is a Video Conferencing Suite that allows users to communicate simultaneously with multiple sites at different locations around the world, all in real time.
- UCL Centre for Computational Science (CCS) - The CCS is concerned with many aspects of theoretical and computational science, from chemistry and physics to materials, life sciences and informatics.
- HECToR - HECToR (High-End Computing Terascale Resource) is the UK's high-end computing resource, funded by the Research Councils and available for researchers at UK universities. The HECToR Computational Science and Engineering support service run an ongoing programme of training courses covering topics ranging from good software development practises to optimisation of parallel codes.
- HECToR CSE Training - a number of courses are regularly hosted at locations around the UK. These training courses are provided free of charge to HECToR users, and also to UK academics funded by one of the participating research councils (EPSRC, NERC and BBSRC). Others may attend on payment of a course fee.
- National Grid Service (NGS) - The National Grid Service aims to provide coherent electronic access for UK researchers to all computational and data based resources and facilities required to carry out their research, independent of resource or researcher location.
- HPC Wire - HPC Wire is a news and information site for High Productivity Computing. The website covers topics such as software, middleware, hardware, networking, storage, tools and applications. You can subscribe to regular email bulletins.
