UCL Computer Security Newsletter - September 2007
The purpose of this newsletter is to keep all security reps and other
interested parties informed about what is happening around UCL
regarding computer security. Further information from the Computer

1. New CST Staff Member
Rod Gliven started in CST last week, joining Daniela Nicastro and Jon
Macfarlane. Rod comes to UCL from the University of
Westminster where he was a Network Technician/Administrator.
2. CST Terms of Reference
These are now on the CST website at

3. Guidelines on giving details to third parties
CST have published some guidelines to raise awareness of social
engineering techniques. These are on the CST website at
http://www.ucl.ac.uk/cert/guideline-givingdetails.pdf. Feel free to
disseminate this link as you deem necessary.
