The purpose of this newsletter is to keep all security reps and other
interested parties informed about what is happening around UCL
regarding computer security. Further information from the Computer
Security Team is always available at http://www.ucl.ac.uk/cert.

1. Remote access to central systems - recommendations from risk analysis

Marion Rosenberg's document "Risk Analysis of Remote Access to
Information Systems at University College London" is now available in
full on the CST webpages. The executive summary can be found at
http://www.ucl.ac.uk/cert/remoteaccess.html and the full document is
linked to from that page.

2. Yellow Privacy Stickers

The yellow stickers entitled 'Your Privacy' should be displayed on the
monitor of every workstation at UCL. As equipment is replaced these are
often missed - if you require any more stickers please let us know and
we will send them out to you.
