The purpose of this newsletter is to keep all security reps and other
interested parties informed about what is happening around UCL
regarding computer security. Further information from the Computer

1. Microsoft updates

2. F-secure vulnerability
A vulnerability has been announced in the way F-secure handles .arj files - for more details, see http://www.f-secure.com/security/fsc-2005-1.shtml
3. Institutional Firewall

4. Training
Please let us know if you have training requirements - with full
details of what you require - e.g. a basic *ix system administration or
something more detailed on a specific O/S.
