Development Approach

The application development will be user-driven, new functionality will be identified and delivered quickly, within short clearly defined periods.  Newly identified functionality will be consider for inclusion in any development period and prioritised with reference to the effort required, the benefits and the overall business case.

This approach to product development is  is called Rapid Application Development which offers a unique opportunity for individuals to determine the shape of the resulting service by becoming involved.

There will be iterations of the application (minor releases) deployed to the LIVE working environment every two weeks.  The UAT (user acceptance test) environment will be available continuously for anyone to preview and to comment on new functionality
