How to find us

Getting here


By car

  1. From the Old Street roundabout (Old Street A5201 and City Road A501), take the west bound Old Street exit marked "Old Street" (east bound Old Street is sign-posted "Shoreditch".
  2. Take the first right which is Bath Street.
  3. The Institute is located on the second block on the right.

Parking is available by checking in with the porter on duty at the front desk.

Visitors are advised to arrange parking in advance by ringing +44 (0)20 7608 6800.


By train

Old Street Station is served by an overground connection on the Moorgate to Alexandra Palace line.

Moorgate and Liverpool Street Stations are also within walking distance of the Institute.

By Tube

Old Street Tube is on the Northern Line (City branch). You can download Tube maps or plan your journey at the following sites:


On foot

  1. From Old Street train/tube station, take exit 8 out of the station, sign-posted Moorfields Eye Hospital.
  2. Take the first left (just before Barclay's Bank) onto Baldwin Street, which merges into Peerless Street.
  3. Continue to the end of Peerless street, past the Richard Desmond Children's Eye Clinic.
  4. At the T junction, turn right and the entrance to the Institute is a little further on your right.
