There are two diets and students study one of these two subject areas:

(1) MSc in Ophthalmology (Cataract & Refractive Surgery)

(2) MSc in Ophthalmology (Retina)

There are 9 modules in each diet, each worth 15 credits, except for the dissertation module, which is worth 60 credits.  All modules are mandatory.  Module 1 covers basic clinical and research skills, and is shared between the two diets.
