Software

Where to obtain software:

• To download - many software packages are available for direct download from UCL Information Services at:www.ucl.ac.uk/isd/common/software  (including MS Office, Reference Manager, Endnote, SPSS, NAG and Exceed). Only holders of a UCL computing account can download UCL licensed software.
• To order - some software packages licensed by UCL can only be obtained by placing an order with UCL Information Systems. View a list of available software at: www.ucl.ac.uk/isd/common/software.

For help with technical problems please contact the ION Computer Unit.

• Hospital staff & computers: the UCL software licences do not allow for software to be loaded onto hospital computers or for use by Hospital staff. Please contact the UCLH Computer Helpdesk for hospital software installations (phone: 020 7380 9367).

• SPSS license: the ION operates under the UCL site licence for SPSS, which allows UCL staff or students to install the software on both work and personal computers. The licence does not permit installation on NHS computers. The current version can be downloaded from www.ucl.ac.uk/isd/common/software.

• License keys for earlier versions can be obtained from isd-software-sales@ucl.ac.uk.

Bibliographic management tools:

EndNote

• There are versions available for both PCs and Macs
• Available to download onto UCL computers from: www.ucl.ac.uk/isd/common/software
