Pick's Disease

Medline NLM definition: an organic mental disorder with loss of intellectual abilities of sufficient severity to interfere with social or occupational functioning. The deficit is multifaceted and involves memory, judgment, and abstract thought. Behavioral and personality changes also occur.

Support Groups

Niemann-Pick's Disease Support group
NPDG (UK) aim to provide care, support and information to those affected by the diseases and their families.  In addition, we can answer a wide range of enquiries from health and social care professionals.

Pick Disease Support Group
The main aims of the PDSG are to provide information and to support carers.
The group meets several times a year in the United Kingdom and has an annual seminar open to professionals and carers.
