UCL Institute of Neurology

We are delighted to announce that Mr Sundeep Teki, a PhD students at the UCL Institute of Neurology was awarded first prize in the recent ABTA Doctoral Researcher Awards competition (category Biological & Medical Sciences). There was strong competition for this award with 140 applications from 40 universities in the UK and the quality was exceptionally high.

Students from the Institute of Neurology and Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience at Queen Square, University College London gathered to present their research at the 14th annual Queen Square Symposium on Friday 15th March 2013.

The website for the Cultural Consultation Service (CCS), which provides support to students and staff experiencing challenges to their learning and/or teaching due to intercultural conflict, has now launched.

The Education Unit is delighted to announce two teaching awards for Clinical teachers, the Djamshidian-Chinthapalli award for outstanding contribution to bedside teaching and the 2011/12 Clinical Tutor of the Year award.

The Faculty of Brain Sciences is holding an Open Day for prospective postgraduate students on 8 February 2012.

Dr Martin Grecco, a student on the MSc Clinical Neurology programme at the UCL Institute of Neurology has been awarded a Santander Formula One Scholarship, by UCL.
