I am interested in how decisions are translated into actions. In my PhD, I would like to study changes in connectivity between regions dedicated to decisions-for-actions and action selection in situations where decisions are related or unrelated to specific actions. I am also interested in the way in which decision-related brain regions bias activity in the motor system when an action is prepared. I use a combination of TMS, EEG and fMRI to address these questions |

PhD
I am on a 4-year PhD program at UCL and in my first year, I did projects in David Attwell's, Ray Dolan's and Sven Bestmann's labs. I then stayed on in this lab where I am now working on my PhD. My second PhD supervisor is Karl Friston and I also collaborate with Tim Behrens.

| 2008 - present | 4 Year Wellcome Trust PhD in Neuroscience, UCL |
| 2007 - 2008 |
MSc in Neuroscience, University of Oxford (distinction)
|
| 2007 | Internship with Nancy Kanwisher |
| 2003 - 2006 | BSc in Mathematics, Computer Science and Cognitive Science University of Osnabrück, Germany (1st class honours) |
