Ana Carolina Saraiva

Ana Saraiva

I am currently working on a project investigating how emotional information influences the motor system to execute accurate actions, and where in the brain emotional and motor processes are integrated. I am particularly interested in exploring how the expectation of an emotional event prepares an individual for fast and accurate actions. In this project I will use a combination of non-invasive techniques such as fMRI, EEG and TMS to explore the influence of emotional expectancy on approach-avoidance actions.
