I am a senior lecturer in the Department of Information Studies (DIS) at University College London (UCL), where I teach topics related to computer science. I am also an honorary member of the Department of Computer Science. My research is in artificial intelligence, logic, and knowledge representation. In particular, I am interested in formal theories of and computational frameworks for reasoning about actions. I am a founding member of the Applied Logic Group. I am also DIS's Departmental Tutor, and have a particular responsibility for overseeing the teaching of DIS undergraduate modules for the BSc Information Management for Business programme.

Office hours September 2009 - March 2010: Rob is usually available to see UCL students without appointment during term time on Mondays from 12:30pm to 1:30pm.
