Bench to Bedside Studentships
Four year PhD programme MRC-funded "From Bench to Bedside" studentships is a programme of study developed to combine research training in cutting edge biomedical science with an opportunity to experience the clinical context of the research.
Students wishing to apply should have a first degree in a Biomedical Science subject (at 2.1 or above, or significant relevant experience) and be a UK/EU citizen who has resided in the UK for the past 3 years. For full residency eligibility see the MRC Student Eligibility web pages.
Alternatively, if prospective students from any nationality have secured their own funding (to cover tuition fees, living expenses, and at least £5k pa in consumables costs) and would like to apply for a particular project, please contact lauren.collins@ucl.ac.uk to discuss direct application further.
Successful candidates will receive UK tuition fees and a stipend (currently £18,740 [tax-free]) per annum for 4 years.
