The Biomedical Imaging DTP is jointly managed by the Centre for Advanced Biomedical Imaging and the Centre for Medical Image Computing who appoint the Programme's Directors.
The Directors are supported by a Coordinator and an Administrator who provide the first point of contact for current and potential students.
Supervisors for both MRes and PhD research are drawn from departments across UCL and its associated hospitals.
Their expertise ranges from the devlopment of novel imaging techniques and image processing alogorithms through to pre-clinical development and clincal application.
There are approximately twelve students in each year of the Doctoral Training Programme.
Students on the programme have backgrounds in the physical sciences, engineering and the life sciences and can enter the programme direct from an undergraduate or masters degree or after experience in industry.
