Information about the funding available is given below for guidance only. For your eligibility to be assessed, you must complete an application to UCL. We are not able to give any further guidance on eligibility without receiving your completed application.
UK and European applicants
We have a number of awards available for applicants from the UK and EU which cover both fees and an annual tax-free stipend of £16,851.
To be eligible as a 'UK applicant' you must generally have settled status in the UK (i.e. no restrictions on how long you can stay) and have been 'ordinarily resident' in the UK for 3 years prior to the start of the grant. If you are not a UK or EU national you must not have been residing in the UK wholly or mainly for the purposes of full-time education.
NEW: Leonard Wolfson PhD Programme
Students from outside the EU are welcome to apply, however the CDT have no funding available pay their fees or stipend. When applying to the CDT, overseas candidates should make it clear on their application how they intend to support themselves during their years of study.
