Count me In pic

Project Summary

This project addressed violence against marginalised women (sex working women, lesbian women, and women with disabilities) in three countries in South Asia (India, Nepal and Bangladesh).

The project collected primary data on women's experiences of violence, and then undertook policy analysis with key stakeholders in all three countries.

The research findings and the campaign outcomes of the Count Me In Project were presented by CREA and its collaborating partners at the Count Me In: South Asia Conference on Violence Against Sex workers, Disabled Women, Lesbian and Trans Women. The three-day conference took place in Kathmandu, Nepal in April 2011 to mark the culmination of the project.
